Power Warning: IP Reader requires a 12V DC 2A switching power supply. Do NOT share power supply with door lock hardware. Install a diode (1N4004 for 12V/1A or 6A1 for 1–6A) to prevent back EMF damage.

Installation Tips
- Use Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable.
- Use a SEPARATE 12V DC 2A power supply — do not share with door lock hardware.
- Install a 1N4004 or 6A1 diode on door controller wires to prevent EMF damage.
- Configure IP address: Static or DHCP via the built-in web interface.
- For car park: connect UHF reader via RS485 to the ACTAtek device; the IP Reader then handles multi-factor authentication.
- For turnstile integration: use NC, COM, NO terminals to control lock status based on valid credentials.
