The AMS server is requesting a new activation key. Could you please explain the reason for this?

Solution

For your information, the AMS Product Key is generated based on the PC's MAC address.

Therefore, if the client migrates the AMS installation to a new PC, the Product Key will change due to the different MAC address.

Additionally, if the original PC has two LAN cards, switching from one to the other (i.e., disabling one and enabling the other) will also result in a change to the Product Key.

If the client is running AMS on a virtual machine, please ensure that the VM's network adapter MAC address is set to static, not dynamic, to avoid unintended changes to the Product Key.
