What was the maximum distance for the connection between the device and the external I/O board?

Solution
The baud rate that ACTAtek device used to communicate with I/O board is 115200bps without CRC checking.

So the safety length between ACTAtek device and I/O board  is less than 10FT. 20FT probably ok which it will also depend on the RS-232 cable's quality.
